I used to go fishing everyday.... br well practically everyday.... br Me and my buddy Jeff br would fish either day or night br Everyday....weather permitting br As a manufacturer of fishing lures br it was my job to fish.... br But Jeff grew old...too old to cast a line br and I was poisoned when mistaken for a rat.... br and lost my sea legs... br So now I am landlocked to a desk br Yet still.....even today.... br I have people write or call me br and ask me for our lures.... br 'Which Mr. Wiffle works the best? ' br they always ask.... br 'What is your favorite color? ' br 'Do you like the White with Red tail br or prefer like I do the White with Red head? br Or does it really matter...I mean they all work? ' br We'll talk sometimes for hours br I'll give them my opinions.... br What I would use and when.... br knowing full well br I will probably never go fishing again.... br They always thank me for my time br and promise to send me pictures br of their catch....or tell me of the one that got away... br Speaking of the one that got away.... br Last night I had a dream... br I had just made a perfect cast into a swirl I saw in the water br (introduce shameless plug for lure here) br As my White with Red tail Mr. Wiffle Sonic Tail shad..... br slowly swam beneath the water's surface.... br a ten pound plus Speckled Trout placed...his two pointed teeth br into the soft virgin plastic of that fine quality World famous lure br and took off.....stripping line like mad from my reel.... br I was so excited to have hooked this fish.... br even if I knew I would never land him....
