(Dodgy Dave Tale) 10 Poems of Dodgy Dave br br br 10 Poems........Dodgy Dave.......can you believe! br And I still have more to receive. br Some may think this very odd. br How I came across this silly sod. br br He's been here since my beginnings. br Here at PH there's no losing just winning. br I've gained such a wonderful friend, br and he gives me his tales to pen. br br See it started 10 poems ago br When I was filled with such woe. br He came along with his heartfelt and silly comments. br lifting me up when I felt spent. br br Then we were chatting one night. br He mentioned a sermon he had to write. br He said he was a bit of a Vicar. br Right away my mind rhymes......quicker. br br So that's how the first tale began. br We laughed until we could no longer stand. br He understood that was the best medicine for me. br Laughter...IS...the best medicine, you see. br br If the truth be told. David is a humble guy. br He really finds it hard to accept accolades and is shy. br You wouldn't think that from a man with a funnybone. br You think they're the one with the microphone. br (Center stage is where they're best at home) br br But for Dave that's far from the fact. br He really rather be quiet and set back. br But I'm here to give credit where credit is due. br Thank you Dave for being you.
