There are many times the day is long br We try to keep our faith so strong br We attempt to do the best we can br As we follow a rather simple plan. br br But then, without a warning call br Our peace comes to a grueling crawl br Upsetting all that we have done br We feel that we’re the only one br br To face the fears, heartbreak and loss br And into turmoil we are tossed br It shocks our being to our soul br And after a time it takes its tole, br br What do we do? We ask our self br Do we put our world upon a shelf? br It hurts so bad we’re at a stop br We feel like a failure, our dreams a flop. br br But this is the time, my friend, that we br Must open our eyes wide and see br We are not alone, we have to trust br In our faith, for now, it is truly a must.
