Bob and Alex Eichen - The Hardest Trigger I Never Pulled

Bob and Alex Eichen - The Hardest Trigger I Never Pulled

Andrew, Andrew, my beautiful boy! br Andrew, Andrew, my pride and joy! br Andrew, Andrew, where have you gone? br Why, oh why, have you left me so alone? br You've gone on a journey, br You've gone so far away! br And now I sit and cry and cry br The whole long night and day. br Oh how I want br to come with you! br I no longer want to live, br But I have other children, br and other relatives. br With but just a squeeze. br I could join you in the sky br But painfully I must live on br I don't get to die. br We might be separated, br if I do myself some harm, br So I must wait and wait and wait br To hold you in my arms. br God needed you in heaven br because you were so good. br You already were an angel br This he understood. br When God, I finally stand before br He better tell me why br Why, oh why, a father lived. br Why the son, he had to die! br br My son was Andrew Thomas Eichen and he became an angel on 24SEP08 and this poem is dedicated to his memory.
