gregory collins - What the sky smoothes out

Forgetting beauty, will break you in half with br the right look, like light cauterizing darkness br br and spinning my soul like a top on mirrors br that sob away in pockets of time. And if i had br br only the courage to crawl out of her eyes br dreaming, maybe remembering the stars are br br above billions of lovers; Billions like the sound br of purple was invented by love: Because of br br what is happening. The earth has rolled her br shirt into a little pillow like a good, unknown br br poet. Happy that she can rest comfortably after br rolling joints by the thousands. The fact that br br the sky could rip an abyss to be carried along br by anyone; To be torn into pieces and have a br br compass that actually can grab hold of the br silence. Actually smothered by what the sky br br smoothes out, and what this dream thinks br about your soul, and the great rose that won't br br sleep: That forest i saw in your eyes, that let's br me paint the night and its silver entrails backwards.
