Willma Washinton - Fire

Willma Washinton - Fire

Is fire what lets us live and love and be? br It with its flames it hypnotizes us, br I stare, it listens and with it I flee, br Away I go, into a cozy dream. br br The fire, it burns away the lives ahead; br The houses and their contents lost to foe, br And even people as they lie in bed, br It is a dreaded curse from down below. br br Here is a question we must come to meet: br Is it the foe, or is the foe ourselves? br So cold we are, without some sort of heat, br And sausages, they will not cook themselves. br br But fire has beauty like a movie star; br We need to use the fire responsibly.
