I WROTE A POEM WITH THE STARS AS MY LIGHT br br I wrote a poem with the stars as my light br And thought of all the distances between the lines- br If only we could reach one another br But with each message we grow farther apart- br br The universe was closer once br And so were we- br But now how great and greater the distances- br br One day soon you will pass out of my horizon br And we will be as if we never were- br br Even the greatest Love cannot be remembered br If there is not some small light shining still br Between the stars.
