The Seed of Life is Truth and Light br God’s Word His royal decree br Power surpassing the greatest might br Through Christ within the free br br The free, have now the world to tell br The truth of life anew br To teach the lost of sin and hell br The way to Heaven too! br br With knowledge is the bride so full br Her saints are fat and sleek br Yet many swords have grown quite dull br Just sitting every week br br The Lord will use a faithful tool br But yet He’s not deceived br We cannot play with Him the fool br Once truth has been received br br Not all in Christ is being done br Ignorant, children die br Their souls yet many could have won br When heeding Jesus’ cry br br The world must hear God’s churches sing br Her children must be taught br Must feel the love beneath Christ’s wing br Receive His true report br br The world must see she’s much to learn br So much from Christ to gain br So no one else should ever burn br Nor feel eternal pain br br God’s precious Lamp we dare not hide br But rise our load to bear br Until the last has come inside br God’s gift of life to sharebr br Michael P.
