Carolyn Brunelle - Moving Day

Carolyn Brunelle - Moving Day

Old age br moved them br further away in time br where they lost themselves br hidden beneath wrinkles br and medicines and blankets. br br Then death br moved them all the way br to that brighter place, br where they could begin again, br but I was left here to mourn them. br br I suppose all of life br is about moving... br away from some things too soon br or forward before we're ready. br br They came to say goodbye today; br I felt them move from my heart br They must know I can br finally bare their absence. br br I guess it must be time... br for me to move on too.
