Michael P. Johnson - CAN I COME IN? Mt.25: 35

“Forgive me please this time of night br My friend’s in so much pain br Across the moor we saw your light br Despite this freezing rain br br I found him lying cold and still br Near to death I fear br And so to do the Father’s will br I sought your help in here” br br “Come in my friends I’ll close the door br Come in and take a seat br Your friend looks frozen to the core br Draw closer to the heat br br I’m sure you can’t go on tonight br You must go straight to bed br It’s good you saw my kitchen light br Or both of you’d be dead br br For both of you to God I’ll pray br I live here all alone br The doctor lives too far away br And I don’t have a phone br br Have faith dear friends God understands br He sees and knows your pain br I’m sure He’ll stretch His healing hands br To make you well again br br You’re now awake, I find it weird br Something I can’t ignore br The man who brought you disappeared! br Straight through a bolted door” br br You say you never knew his name br Yet friend don’t think it odd br I now believe that He who came br Was Christ The Son Of God.br br Michael P.
