Lee Crowell - the heartache

there's a guy who gets up for work at 5am br he shaves, showers, puts on a clean shirt with matching tie br checks himself in the mirror br just before he leaves br he plucks his heartache from the nightstand br and places it in his briefcase br br when he gets to the office br he sets his heartache on the shelf above his desk br next to the photos of his family br br on weekends he can be seen at the market br or on a walk through the park br carrying his heartache in a brown paper bag br br for social events this guy pins his heartache on his chest br as though it is a badge of honor br while everyone else thinks he looks pathetic br br once the guy went to a therapist because he didn't want to live anymore br he sat in a chair with his heartache cupped carefully in his hands br when the therapist asked him if he had an actual plan to carry out the suicide he said no br so she wrote him a prescription and totally ignored his heartache br br the guy just left frustrated br muttering to his heartache br 'ok i'll take you for coffee br but i'm not buying you a doughnut today' br br utilizing a technique they are famously known for br the heartache conjured up a menacing stare br a stare to freeze the guy's world br and when the stun of the situation br finally melted br the guy fell back into his old ways br allowing the heartache to dictate br and forfeiting the slightest amount of controlbr br Lee Crowellbr br
