Gabriel br the angel br was sent br From God. To give a message br that would be heard abroad. br To a virgin engaged to be br married. And with love br this message he br carried. He told sweet br Mary not to fear. For the message br I bring is of good cheer. For you will give br birth to God's Son. Through him the battle with br Satan will be won. Mary asked how can this be? For no br man has ever known me. The angel replied through God's br decree. The Holy Ghost will fill you with his seed. Jesus is the br name you will give him. And he will make the sun look dim. With br fear and joy filling Mary's heart. Replied I as his handmade will do my br part. With that reply the angel did leave. For he knew that Mary did believe br That her son would one day be King. And the world's salvation would he bring.
