Hello again, br br I br The Arts and Time and Friends my themes br And the handiwork wrought by His hands br And thoughts of you who haunts my dreams br And the beings of stranger land br With gratitude for the little things br And the right and chance to be br Behind my mask of words I bring br My song in poetry. br br br II br In this self-portrait, I paint my tune br Unbidden as time I wait br For as its images live and croon br Beyond the mirages, the glow I see br The you understanding Love shall know br And my acceptance the gentle Key br br br III br In the Universe I live br And seek its mysteries br To the music that you give br And the lure of the rolling sea br For innocence bequeathes wisdom br As Spring breathes from Winter night br The sands move as day is done br Lost in time and to our sight br Our dance to life was very brief br As day lights the brightest star br In the bubbling brooks of mind's release br And the bird's who have flown afar br br br IV br Though small I be to the waking eye br And you a large part of life br Towards my home I step quietly br The part of me as wife br For with love and its gentle way br The sweet notes calm the strife br As my little angels chime br I thank you for changing my life br br br V br Lost in the rose of the fading day br In the tune the minstrel sings br And in the sand waves tossed about br Embraced my heart still sings br For once you turned me inside out br On moonstones, pearls and wings br br br ~***********~ br br P.S.
