June FeirCruz - 'Love Is A Reciprocal Commodity' as inspired by Barbara Terry

'Love is a reciprocal commodity' br 'If love is not returned, then it has never started' br Why must we suffer then as though it was etched in stone? br If love is not reciprocated, then what is the point? br br In love when we are asked to jump, we asked how high? br Go jump in the lake and fate we nearly tempt br Maybe being a martyr is the style in the olden days br Not anymore in this internet age br br Afterall 50 is the new 30 as you can see br I can still be as stunning and meet a man with a degree br So, watch your language and what you say to me br Or you'll find yourself and your laptop tossed out of the window in glee. br br To: Barbara Terry - thank you for your inspirational words(from your comments on Acceptance - the inspiration behind this poem) , this is for you. Fondly, June.
