GAYLE ANNE GOFF - MEMORIES OF MY FATHER

GAYLE ANNE GOFF - MEMORIES OF MY FATHER

As I walk my fathers land br .I pass his old flour mill. br . No creature could be br heard. br br But the faint sound of a baby bird, br maybe it was calling to its mother. br br As I looked out onto my fathers pond. br The only light was from a full white br moon. br Witch shinned upon the dark waters. br br All I could see was the ripples, br being made by a passing school of fish. br br .It reminded me of the times as br a kid. br Coming here with my dad, and fishing br I wished I could go back to my childhood. br br I wish I could fish with him again now. br I looked up to the heaven. br and the stars. br br And said thank you for being my dad. br . I looked back to heaven br and blew him a kiss. br Thank you br '''DAD'' br In memory of my br Father br br br .
