Steven S. Walsky - Skipping Stones In Zurich

i know what i may do br visit the black swans anew br if still they glide upon the lake br br to stand once again along it's shore br as we did that summer day br to cast a stone br for my thoughts br cleaning the memories br from soul and heart br br when, if, I return to that place br will it be as it is burnt in my mind br will it be for her, the woman anew, or myself br strange question, and so unkind br br you can tie your hopes to a stone she said br sail it across the water for life, luck, and love br br what about tying the past I now ask br to cast away a love undone br no, two hold such memories br two people, not one br br thus, skipping a stone br can not server bonds of the heart br do we ever break such ties br or, simply turn our back on them br br i never severed the ties that br first trip back br i simply closed the book's cover br while retaining its story in br mind and heart br thus, a skipping stone is not an end br but a start br br br Skipping Stones In Zurich, copyright Steven S. Walsky,1977 and 2003, all rights reserved.)br br Steven S.
