Max Kuvaev - The Feather Boats

the feather boats dragged onto hostile shore br their rowers devoured their skins lie like mats on the floor br i watch from somewhere shaking with dull painful throes br the feather boats scattered like no one will sail them back home br but when the sky was still blue br and serene br the feather boats flew br the sea was deep green br and I was a boy br with beautiful eyes br my father was young br and my mother all smiles br br yet I float like a snowflake and watch remnants sink into sand br my flaccid slow head sways this vision is going on end br it smells like stale perfume, i breathe in the sweet sticky scent br the feather boats vanish, the last little copper coin spent br the mouth of the trap opened wide br and inviting br it was a mysterious ride br so exciting br every next morning br the sky was brand new br when did it change br oh i never knew br br now i’m crushed like a bug the glassy sky lies on the ground br the funny bells ring the same pattern round and round br the feather boats lost, i think they will never be found br in the end of the dream it turned into pus pouring out br the sick thrill invades through my breath br i’m so tired br i don’t want to finish myself br in this pyre br but i’m a stranger br to all I believe br when all i despise br is the inside of me br br set sail br and take me away br set sail br i can’t stand this strain br set sail br and stop it stop it going on br set sail br please take me back homebr br Max Kuvaevbr br
