TO HEAVEN IN A DREAM br br I dreamed the other night, that br An angel came down to the earth! br Beautiful in snow white costume. br She had a crown on her head br Studded with pearls and diamonds br Which glittered all around her br Then I saw her near my bed, smiling at me! br She then danced and were singing br Songs of love, which I liked most br The moon was shining milky white br The earth was like a glittering carpet br Then she carried me along, to the high skies br Singing all the way and smiling at me! br I was in a trance don’t know what to do! br She laughed at me and said in a whisper br I came down for you to take you away br To the magical world called heaven. br I saw all the things which my granny br Told me about in my childhood days! br And then realised myself in a dream br Which I never before experienced! br br (c) Sasidharan T.
