Mad Gone - I dreamt that dream once more

I dreamt that dream once more, br Though, it faded with the morning light. br Now awake, I wished again br The sun might go and bring back night. br br I hear your voice, your laugh, your sigh, br Standing before me the way you used to do. br I want to talk, but don't know how, br If I do not blame myself, then blame who? br br I often used to wonder, what cruel fate! br The image in the mirror, why it was not you? br Unbearable, a mother's pain, a father's grief, br sisters, brothers, no sign for their relief. br br What would you have been I ponder? br A politician, a scientist, surely someone to assist. br While I my life I live, and sadly blunder. br Fail to conform, findings ways to hinder, to resist.
