Early mornings, I talk to You. br I pray until the sky is blue. br Faithfully I do my chores - br for You are mine and I am Yours. br br I read the Bible, every verse - br but yet the world grows worse and worse. br So where's the bounty? Where's the fruit? br Did You get lost along our route? br br Tell me now - where are you God? br You should be here. This is quite odd. br Do You just sit there on Your throne, br and leave me down here all alone? br br A mustard seed - my faith exceeds. br I live a Godly life indeed. br I pour out Christian love each day - br spreading seed along my way. br br So tell me why You're way up there. br and leave me here in such despair? br Please tell me, why are we apart? br Could I have followed my own heart? br br Could it be, I followed me - br I never listened, couldn't see? br Yes, maybe I had took a turn, br because I didn't want to learn... br br You are there and I am here - br but now I'll follow and not fear. br Early mornings, I'll hear You - br so guide me Lord, and lead me through.
