vahe kazandjian - Rocking Chair Blues

When we hang our skin br From a fallen tree br Near a busy lake br For all to see br How br Time br Passes br And leaves behind br More time br To pass br br When we hold old lips br As a final kiss br In a market br Or while walking a pet br Hoping br The kiss will taste the same br As the tremor once held br Around br Her waist br br When we light an old pipe br Early on a misty day br Sitting in a new chair br Dreaming of what has yet to br Happen br If the blue smoke br Turns your head br As it once did br On rainy days br When your skin was br Smooth br And the kiss br Stolen br br When we turn off the lights br On a full-mooned night br We do not look up br But to that inner br River br Which carried us br Through br And in which now br A full-moon reflects br Upon things passed br And all that br Did not br Happen br br March 9,2009br br vahe kazandjianbr br
