Concetta Neville - The Never Ending Fight

Concetta Neville - The Never Ending Fight

Once at the age of just five, br I sat in the closet and cried. br I just couldn't dare watch the sight, br of the ones that I love as they fight. br br Once at the age of just six, br I thought that i'd truly be sick. br I'd go in my room and just sit. br Praying this fight would be quick. br br Once at the age of just seven, br I thought that I couldn't be mended. br In life I had learned my first lesson. br The screams and the shouts won't be ended. br br Once at the age of just eight, br I learned what it felt like to hate. br It was hard just to look at his face. br Cause I knew deep inside he held rage. br br Once at the age of just nine, br I felt like I wanted to die. br No longer did I even cry. br I kept all my tears deep inside. br br Once at the age of just ten, br they asked me to whom I defend. br I gave them no answer back than. br So lost, so confused, not a friend. br br Once at the age of eleven, br I wished I could turn back the seconds. br To have never been born would be splendid. br I wished god would offer me heaven. br br Once at the age of just twelve, br I picked up the knife from the shelf. br In the mirror I looked at myself. br This life seemed more hurtful than hell. br br Now at the age of thirteen, br I'm ready to set myself free. br I make sure the knife cuts me deep. br I die to the sound of there screams.
