Ah witty Shakespeare in whom I delight br At last by numbers paired br To thee good sir I say well met br Thine own pinnacle now we share br O' the quills I hath retired br In pursuit of this noble quest br Stanzas, mirth, and sorrow writ and br As thee sonnets penn'd at love's behest br I shan't let admiration wane br Great mentor in the ways of rhyme br From thesbian lips thy words to wit br Spake thee the heart and soul of human kind br O'Mystic Bard let thy spirit heed br Twas thy works alone that reveal'd the muse in mebr br John A.
