Juan Olivarez - A Grasshopper

Juan Olivarez - A Grasshopper

A grasshopper was hopping, br (Cause that's what they do) br He landed on a cactus, br And said ah, ah, ahchoo. br br 'Gesundheit ' someone said, br From somewhere behind. br And the grasshopper said 'thank-you. br I hope you don't mind.' br br 'The sun is so bright, br It just made me sneeze. br It's nothing contagious, br It's not a disease.' br br 'So glad to hear that' br The voice came again. br 'Because I was watching, br And I took great pains.' br br 'To hide in this cactus, br Until you came near. br Because little grasshoppers, br Are what I hold dear.' br br The grasshopper turned, br A pale shade of green. br The voice came from a crow, br That he hadn't seen. br br And that was the last thing, br He ever knew. br The crow just swallowed him, br Didn't even chew.
