I've been standing in this field for years br and I tell you I've seen a thing or two br yes I may wear scruffy and tatty clothes br but if you did this job so would you. br I was put here to scare away the birds br but they come no matter how hard I try br I've stood and acted all tough and macho br but Crows still poke me in the eye. br And I confess I do get really frightened br especially when it's dark and cold at night br you get to hear lots of spooky noises br which can give me such an awful fright. br It's a lonely life being a Scarecrow br stuck in a field year after year br sometimes I wish I was a human being br so I could watch the Football and have a beer.
