Steven Cooke - To whom it may concern

As the moon argues with clouds br In winter's tormented sky br A frail life lingers in the shadows br Waiting for deaths hello br To glide over the river of Styx br On the spirit of his funeral swan. br . br Through frosted windows, br A whispered orb appears br Hovering over mortal conscience br Mirrored in masked apparitions, br Around the candles flicker. br br Voices fill the room br Calling the cemeteries dead br Calling witness to this passing br And In the Rocking chair a figure br br Speaking, plumes of mist br Looking from a dark abyss br Where once there was a face, br The scratching of a Quill, br Writing, moving across a veil of grey, br Hiding the pages beneath br br The quill of mankind br Is Here to empty your soul, br Though your heart will try and hide, br The truth, br The person that is you.
