Those eyes I see, always remain unseen br When I peep in and in - I see nothing; br Absolutely nothing: no color, no question, br Not a bit of wonder even! br Just stoic and and stony as ever br To say everything with splendid fervor br But says nothing, nothing in my year. br Or I can't hear? br Still I gaze on and on and sure no mystery hides br In corner of those lovely eyes! br br At times I see - br Those look shape less and br Again appear with twinkles with well curves br Around me and mine; br Feel, as if those are only for me! br br Not sure, ever not sure br To guess you see me or I really could see you. br But, everyday I look at those lovely eyes br And see, those even are fixed at me. br Again feel, as if those are only for me! br br Days move with nights on back br Sun opens up me within, I see again br And you remain unseen. br I remain at me and you remain at yours. br So, also the distance remains - br Will it remain for ever? br Still, for your eyes I will stare as before br Again also so even after! br br ---------------- br Hrushikesha Mohanty br 20th August 2012.
