God chose a shepherd boy to be the king br Of Israel, when Goliath, the giant br Had threatened everyone, and vowed to bring br Israelites on their knees by his win-chant! br br David, the lad had pebbles and a sling; br Goliath had a mighty sword and shield; br But David came in name of God to sing, br And the Philistine had but to yield! br br For, God supports the righteous ones to win; br The evil-minded have to bite the dust; br God abhors devils and the mortal sin; br The righteous always hope in Lord and trust.
