The stories of their lives are so good to read br Those unselfish people who helps those in need br From their Homeland they travel far away br For love of helping the less fortunate without any pay br For their altruistic ways respect and recognition they are due br To their higher selves such people always true br Known for their compassion and their empathy br These people a credit to humanity br At home and in drought ravaged lands overseas br They help the Homeless and the hungy and the Stateless refugees br For humanity's cause they put self ambition aside br True greatness of them never should be denied br In the helping of the less fortunate their time they devote br And in words I would laud them if I were a poet.
