William Thomas Dodd - A State of Affairs

William Thomas Dodd - A State of Affairs

As angels cry while children die br and wealth is on the table. br One wonders why they don’t just try, br to make the world more stable. br As grief abounds, no moral grounds, br to support the actions taken. br At end of day, those who confound, br their mishaps are forsaken. br Whilst those with means like Kings and Queens, br refuse to make the move. br Religion thrives on loss of lives br and those who try to prove, br the meaning of a being with nothing left to lose. br So when at night when eyes are closed, br yet sleep is still a stranger. br Ones thoughts allied can’t be denied, br whilst privy to the danger. br And so entwined the frame of mind, br seeks solace in the manger.
