As I stand next to you, I place my hand upon my chest. br As I extend it back down, I open my hand, there sits my heart. br As I gently pull it apart into two sections; I place one part back inside br so that I may live. br As I look upon your face, with it's magnificent, warming smile; I freely br give to you the other half to carry with you for awhile or longer if you br chose. br As you stand there next to me, deciding what to do; please know that br if you chose to hold onto this piece of my heart; to take the chance to br get to know me. br That if for any reason you need space, time or that you find that you br can't or don't want to keep this portion of my heart, just return it (which I hope will never happen) . br But if you find you must, I'll handle it. br All I ask is that you'll continue to be my one and only mechanic.
