'Thinking Like a Writer' is a MOOC (massive open online course) offered by Michigan State University. br br Welcome to Module 1: 'Stories of Writing and Learning'. In this module, you will work on reflection and description. Specifically, you will write about how you learn. This first module asks you to think about your learning experiences. First, you will brainstorm and think about how you learned to do something you're good at—for example skills, hobbies, or sports. Then we will ask you to think about how you learned what you know about writing. You will draft a short essay comparing these learning experiences by focusing on the following skills: reflection, narration, and description. Then you will have a chance to give and get feedback from your 'Thinking Like a Writer' peers.
