The board of directors of India’s largest milk federation, the Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF), unanimously elected Jethabhai Patel, a cooperative leader from North Gujarat as the new Chairman. GCMMF sells milk products under the ‘Amul’ brand.
