A ship lost at sea, br Tossing and turning br Amidst the crashing waves. br br The Captain stands firm, br Erect; He is comfortable, br The Ocean is his element. br br Foolishness or bravery br Drives his actions, just as br Cowardice drives his crew below. br br The sails, billowing in the wind, br Harness Nature's Energy and br Force the ship where the Captain wills. br br He knows not where to go, br Nor from whence he came, br but blunders onward carelessly. br br The wind grows strong, br the mast breaks, the hull br splinters in the onslaught. br br Water rushes in, the br cowards drown; ironic deaths br where protection becomes grave. br br The captain, now alone, br chains hand to wheel, br And prepares for death. br br He knows that in death, br He finds accomplishment, and br with that, peace is found. br br And so ends the life br Of the Captain, his br Purpose had ended. br br br The waves swallow the ships while br Time erases his memory.
