American Chopsuey - Chinese Maincourse Recipe By Ruchi Bharani

Share on Facebook : br Tweet now : br American Chopsuey is a delightful preparation of crispy fried noodles served with veggies and sauce. Ruchi Bharani brings you her version of this delectable dish. br br Ingredients: br br 200 gms cabbage br 100 gms carrots br 2 tsp chilli sause br 100 gms yellow capsicum br 100 gms capsicum br 100 gms sprouted mung br 2 tsp oil br 100 gms onions br 100 gms boiled noodles br 100 gms fried noodles br br For sauce: br 2 tbsp sugar br 3 tbsp corn flour br 2 cups tamato sause br 3 cups water br 3 tbsp vinegar br br Method: br br To make sauce: br - In a saucepan, add the ketchup, chilli sauce, sugar, cornflour, vinegar, and water and mix all the ingredients together. br - Bring it to a boil and keep whisking the ingredients to avoid lumps. br - Boil the sauce until it becomes think and then keep it aside. br br To make veggies: br - Heat oil in a wok and add the onions, capsicum, yellow capsicum, carrots and the cabbage and saute these veggies. br - Stir-fry the veggies on a high flame for about a minute. br - Add the bean sprouts to the veggies. br - Then add the sauce (that you prepared previously) to the veggies and stir well. br - Add the boiled hakka noodles and salt to taste and give it a final stir. br br For plating: br - Soak the hakka noodles in water for about 15 minutes and then drain out the water. br - Pat them dry in a napkin and then fry the noodles till they are brown in colour. br - Before serving, pour the gravy onto the fried noodles. br - The delicious American Chopsuey is ready to be served. br br Director: Suchandra Basu br Camera: Kawaldeep Singh Jangwal,Manjeet Kataria br Editing: Sagar Bamnolikar br Creative Head: Kavya Krishnaswamy br Producer: Rajjat A.
