Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey seemed to be the ideal Hollywood couple. Unfortunately, the pair may be splitting for good.

Cannon has admitted that the relationship isn’t what it used to be. The 33-year-old actor and producer told ‘The Insider With Yahoo’ “There is trouble in paradise. We have been living in separate houses for a few months.”

Cannon refused to talk about what caused the separation but he did say it had nothing to do with infidelity. He also added that his priority is on the couple’s three-year-old twins.

For several months, tabloids have been riddled with articles about the couple parting ways and rumors were circulating on social media. There was speculation that 45-year-old Carey believed her hubby was being unfaithful.

She is said to have hired a security guard to watch his behavior and keep the women a safe distance away while he partied in Las Vegas. Back in July, the pair put their Bel Air mansion up for sale for $13 million.

The couple tied the knot back in 2008.
