The programme features examples of "traditional" Scottish culture such as bagpipe and drum performances, highland dancing, sheep herding, and traditional athletic competitions. br br Some festival-goers expressed their views on the upcoming September 18 Scottish independence vote, saying that a feeling of independence from the United Kingdom exists among many Scots residing in the U.S and elsewhere.
