Thousands of people are expected to attend the ceremonies commemorating the 204th anniversary of Mexico's Independence. Meanwhile, trade unions, social and peasant organizations, among others, will be staging an alternative celebration of Mexico's Independence Day tonight at Mexico City's Monument of the Revolution.
