Ahmedabad: New Municipal Commissioner D Thara took charge at a function at Tagore Hall to welcome the 1995 batch IAS officer even as outgoing civic chief Guruprasad Mohapatra was accorded a befitting farewell. The Mayor, Member of Parliament, members of legislative assembly, civic officials and Councillors were present on the occasion.
