Authorities are ready for large-scale evacuations in the coastal districts of Andhra Pradesh and Odisha as Hudhud, a very severe cyclonic storm, heads to these two states. The cyclone is expected to make landfall around Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh on Sunday, 12th Oct before noon, according to the Meteorological department.
