My uncle died. br I am not sure when br nor of what br nor how old he was br though my father br would have been ninety-six br if he had still been alive br and I think my uncle was older. br I found out tonight br that my uncle died. br br A second cousin br I hadn’t seen since I was about five br (and now I am sixty-six) br who br some time back br visited South Africa br from Canada, br to where his family emigrated br phoned to say br he would visit me br but didn’t, br emailed me tonight to say br my father’s brother br who lived in Scotland, br died br and he was sorry. br br I saw my uncle twice - br once when I was about two br and then again br when I was about four br (and I am still sixty-six) br and I hadn’t heard from him since. br br My uncle died br and my second cousin br is sorry br and so am I. br I really am.
