Michael Morris - Memorial?

Michael Morris - Memorial?

Memorial? br A meal prepared by loving hands, br Feeds more than bodies, it feeds souls. br And binds us closer with those bands br That keep our hearts complete and whole. br For from the world at times we come br To find ourselves. And then the noise br We thought had meaning, is the hum br Of droning bees. And all the joys br We strove for and we thought of worth br Are seen as fair-ground candy-floss br And if, while on this fragile earth, br We cannot see that all is dross br Except forTruth and Love and Trust. br What have we learnt, that we would give br To those who follow, for we must br Show them, not tell them, how to live, br For words are all too glibly said br And fast from Mem'ry's pages fade. br But visions of a life well led br Of such are true commandments made.
