Peter S. Quinn - A Flower In The Fall (From, Shorter Poems...)

A flower in the fall has withered br The colors that breathed so free, br For summer songs are now all flown br And lifeless's each bloom and tree. br br Now winter's comes in colored gray br As gloomy clouds above are flying, br I can't forget a bloom from fall br And see it still as it lay dying. br br When the warmth will come again br With spring bosoms green and right, br I'll remember that withered bloom br That gave yesteryear's colors bright.br br Peter S.
