The storm raged in over night br Yes, nature had a plan br It brought terrible conditions br For plant, or beast, or man br br It came in so very quickly br The wind was hard and fierce br And when I stepped outside br My lungs and face it pierced br br Locked in winter's embrace br The world was cold and hard br Frail dry grass was transformed br As I looked out into my yard br br The fences were laced with ice cycles br Rock solid they were from the cold br It was so astounding to watch br The winter ice storm unfold br br Not a thing was able to move br If the wind blew we’d never tell br It’s the perfect scene to capture br Photographers and artists as well br br It’s amazing what nature can do br And tomorrow it could be quite warm br But for now I’ll take out my camera br And capture this fierce winter storm!br br Marilyn Lottbr br
