My church is made of Sandstone br So beautiful outside and in br I take each Sunday seriously br As I address my daily sins br br For I feel the warmth of Jesus br Inside every single room br It brightens up my Sunday br Wipes away my sense of gloom br br And on Monday night of worship br I deeply bow my head in prayer br As I feel His warmth around me br And I sense His constant care br br My beautiful church towers br Nearly to the sky it seems br I love it when it pours down rain br Or in the brilliant sunbeams br br The flowers, rocks and greenery br Are all designed by the hand of God br They hug the church I worship br For they grow on precious sod!br br Marilyn Lottbr br
