Through life I’ve sang Salvation’s song br I’ve had my ups and downs br I’ve tried my best to do no wrong br But still I’ve raised some frowns br br I love my God with heart and soul br Though still I feel some pain br Christ washed me clean He made me whole br I’m free and born again br br By grace, I’m in Salvation‘s hand br In Christ my life is new br Through faith I’ve learned to understand br That Jesus’ love is true br br Within my Lord I’m more than glad br We talk both night and day br I seek His joy when feeling sad br And for His peace I pray br br I’m growing old my hair is white br My blood is running thin br But praise the Lord for giving Light br And freeing me of sin br br The world may say my life is through br Now soon I’ll see my grave br Yet while I’m here I’ll share with you br That Christ is here to save br br Although of aged flesh and bone br Of death I’ve no more fear br For Jesus changed this heart of stone br And came to dwell in here br br Upon the Lord we can depend br Through Him we learn to cope br I’ll stay in Christ until the end br In Him!
