It is like taking a walk br In a forest by the riverside br And keeping a lookout for it, br For anything worth picking up br And keeping in your study br Or in the office to show to the other. br Can be a matter of locating it br Gently picking it up br Brushing aside the muck and dirt br And blowing on it, if need be, br Washing it, drying it, br And carrying it tenderly. br br Later looking at it carefully, br Provide the shine and polish br And strengthening in places br To retain it in its place. br br That is how I make a poem.
