It’s tough to be a teenage, br no one really knows br what the pressure is like in school, family, br Friends & relationships br this is how it goes br I wake up ever morning, br and stare into this face. br I wanna be good lookin, br but i feel like a disgrace. br My friends they seem to like me, br If I follow through their dare. br But when I try to be myself, br They never seem to care. br My mom, well she keeps saying, br I gotta make the grade. br While both my parent love me, br it slowly seems to fade. br It seems like everyone I know, br is trying to be so cool. br And everytime I try, br I end up just a fool. br I've thought about taking drugs, br I really didn’t want you to know. br But I just don’t fit in, br And It’s really starting' to show. br Maybe if I make the team, br I'll stand out in the crowd. br If they could see how hard I try, br I know they would be proud. br You see I'm still a virgin, br My friends they can't find out. br 'Cause if they knew the truth, br I know they'd laugh and shout. br Sometimes I really get so low, br I want to cash it in. br My problems really aren't so bad, br If I think of how life’s been. br Sometimes im really lost, br and wonder what to do. br I wonder where to go, br Who can i talk to br It's tough to be a teenager, br Sometimes life's not fair, br I wish I had somewhere to go to, br And someone to CARE.
