Randy McClave - September Morn

Randy McClave - September Morn

I watch the World around me br As again I hear nature call br For it is the end of summertime br And the awakening of a beautiful fall. br The leaves have changed their colors br The skies became icy white br My heart becomes exceedingly joyful br At Septembers, beautiful sight. br The rustling wind has turned to cold br The leaves have changed to brown br This moment, I pray to hold br As the leaves fall onto the ground. br The squirrels scurry from their trees br The birds have all flown away br It is another September morning br I feel it with each step that I take. br With a cold wind against my back br I journey to a great tree br To pick up the jewels that she left there br An acorn, and a lonely leaf. br I shiver as I walk br With a leaf and acorn in hand br I watch fall as it arrives around me, br So happy is this man. br I then walk up unto my wife br I present her with the leaf and acorn br So happy I am with this fall, br That I give Her my September morn. br br Randy L.
