ANDREW BLAKEMORE - I Look Unto The Passing Clouds

I look unto the passing clouds br In which my dreams were made and lost, br And watch them as they sail away br Upon the wind that blows across the evening sky. br As each one disappears br Over the distant horizon and slowly melt into the sunset, br I know that I am helpless to stop them br And I shall never see them again. br And yet I pray they'll find another soul br Who shall look upon them in the same way as I, br And maybe for them br Their dreams shall all come true. br Alas for me br The time has expired, br Too late to change the suffering I have endured, br Too late to change the memories of the past. br So no longer shall I dream br For now the clouds in which they sailed, br Hold nothing more than teardrops br Which glisten as they fall towards the cold, hard ground.
